Commissioned before the Covid-19 pandemic to transform a redundant horticultural nursery in rural Warwickshire, the project first secured approval for the conversion of an existing barn into a new dwelling through strategic planning advice. This consent provided the ‘fallback’ position from which approval was successfully negotiated for a replacement contemporary home designed to support modern family life in a post-Covid world.
The scheme is inherently sustainable, with careful consideration given to building fabric, energy performance, and the re-use of on-site materials.
Designed not to stand out, but to belong, it quietly enhances its landscape and setting.
