Our relationship with Charlecote Barns dates back to 2017, and the project team has worked closely with the developer, contractor, and local authority to bring the redundant buildings - formerly Kingsmead Farm - back into use.
Previously used as holiday lets or left as disused agricultural buildings, the site had fallen into disrepair before intervention. Delivered through a phased programme of work, the project created seven distinctive new dwellings, offering a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom homes.
A sensitive approach was taken to the adaptation and conversion of each structure, ensuring the design respects the site’s status as an undesignated heritage asset and its relationship to the nearby Grade I listed house, park, and gardens.
