Commissioned to design a new private residential scheme in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, the project establishes a new neighbourhood within the town centre.
This context informed the building forms, roofscape and the intentional informality of the layout, unified through consistent materials, new hedgerows and tree planting. From a single point of access off Mansell Street, the houses cluster around a central open space, while a row of homes lines two sides of the street.
The development comprises three- and four-bedroom homes with open-plan living and kitchen spaces. Externally, textured chalky-brown brickwork provides continuity across the site, complemented by red brick and zinc window-framed cladding to create a natural, cohesive palette.
