This project involved the full refurbishment of an existing Victorian villa and its tower.

Located within the Green Belt, the property was subject to restrictive planning policy. Despite these constraints, planning permission was secured for an 18-metre swimming pool and leisure complex housed within a contemporary extension that deliberately contrasts with the historic villa.

Spanning four years, the project demanded exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Traditional elements such as plaster coving, lime repairs and stonework were carefully restored, alongside modern construction methods and contemporary materials, ensuring the old and the new were brought together in a cohesive and considered way.
