Initially commissioned to design a contemporary single-storey rear extension to this Grade II listed terraced dwelling.

The brief was later expanded to include comprehensive repairs and internal adaptations.

Located on the High Street in Henley-in-Arden, the land-locked nature of the site presented construction challenges that were carefully managed during the build.

The rear extension employs robust materials that complement the historic fabric while adopting a clearly contemporary approach. The result is both sympathetic to the listed building and confidently distinctive, preserving the setting and character of the original structure.

Delivered in collaboration with a respected local contractor, the project was completed on time and on budget.
