This new dwelling in Warwickshire replaces a house that, although of some architectural merit, no longer met the family’s needs.

Disconnected living spaces and poor links to the garden made adaptation both impractical and uneconomical.

The brief was to create a warm and inviting family home that maximised the site’s potential and strengthened its connection to the outdoors.

The lower ground floor accommodates the entrance, open-plan kitchen, living and family areas, and ancillary spaces. Oriented to the south, a secluded terrace enjoys panoramic views and connects seamlessly with the private walled garden.

The upper floor provides children’s bedrooms, guest rooms, and a master suite.

Durable materials were selected to weather gracefully and require minimal maintenance, bringing together architecture and landscape to create a timeless home for modern family life.
