Commissioned to design a sensitive renovation, extension and modernisation of the existing Church Hall at Elim Pentecostal Church, Lowesmoor, Worcester. It needed to support the church’s strong and growing congregation, and to accommodate modern uses such as band practice, performances and concerts.

Elim Pentecostal Church, located on Lowesmoor, is a Grade II listed building set within the Lowesmoor Conservation Area. The proposed design incorporated a functional new space while upgrading existing facilities.

The scheme now provides functional and appropriate new accommodation, including level access, enhanced storage, WC and catering facilities, along with a capacious auditorium featuring removable seating and a flexible stage arrangement.

Existing areas were transformed to create new offices, small lecture rooms and management spaces to support learning, training and care.
